Job summary

Concrete Strategies LLC. is seeking a Training Coordinator to develop, implement, and continuously improve our training strategy with a focus on curriculum development, train-the-trainer initiatives, safety education, and regulatory training.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Training, this role standardizes programs across offices, shapes learning content, maintains compliance records, and drives safer, more capable project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, OSH, or related field as required.
• Minimum eight years of experience in safety or compliance training.
• Extensive knowledge of construction safety regulations.
• Experience with LMS and blended learning programs.
• Ability to travel to regional offices and project sites (approx. 5%).

Responsibilities

• Serve as a company subject matter expert for training.
• Develop curriculum to implement the company's strategic training program for compliance, OSHA requirements, safety initiatives, and regulatory education.
• Deliver standardized training programs across all regions and business units to ensure consistency and compliance.
• Design, develop, and deliver instructor-led, virtual, field-based, and online training programs.
• Deliver onboarding and safety orientation programs for new employees.
• Execute annual training plans, calendars, and compliance schedules as assigned by the Senior Director of Training
• Coordinate required certifications and recertifications.
• Develop training materials including presentations, manuals, videos, toolbox talks, SOPs, and digital learning modules.
• Administer and maintain the company's Learning Management System (LMS).
• Maintain accurate employee training records and regulatory documentation.
• Monitor certification expirations and ensure timely renewals.
• Conduct training effectiveness assessments and implement continuous improvements.
• Perform field observations to identify training opportunities and reinforce safe work practices.
• Partner with Safety leadership during incident investigations to identify training deficiencies and corrective actions.
• Assist during OSHA, DOT, insurance, and client audits involving employee training records.
• Maintain current knowledge of changing OSHA, company, and industry regulations.
• Provide regular reporting to Senior Director of Training regarding compliance, participation, and training performance metrics.
