Job summary

Blount Fine Foods in Fall River, MA seeks an experienced EHS Manager to lead the Environmental, Health and Safety program. The role reports to the EHS Manager and oversees Safety Technicians on the second shift, driving safe practices and regulatory compliance across the facility.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree or 5 years of related safety experience, plus 3 years OSHA exposure and strong communication skills. Competitive benefits and a discretionary bonus program are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3 years OSHA or Safety experience required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
• Ability to make connections and articulate ideas.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Safety Technicians for applicable shift(s) at the Fall River facility.
• Perform administrative, technical, and professional work to sustain safety programs.
• Maintain OSHA filings and safety records; present performance data internally and externally.
• Improve workplace safety by recognizing and controlling hazardous conditions.
• Lead corporate safety education for all personnel.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, state and local codes.
• Conduct safety and environmental training, audits, and surveys as needed.
• Lead accident investigations and communicate findings and actions.
• Review, revise and develop corporate safety programs.
• Conduct program assessments to identify deficiencies.
