Job summary

Vermeer Corporation is seeking a Health and Safety professional to join our second shift on-site team. You will investigate incidents, perform audits, and proactively identify and implement risk-based solutions to protect Team Members.

The role emphasizes independent work, safety-first mindset, and collaboration with operations to strengthen standard work practices. A Bachelor’s in OHS and OSHA-30 preferred, with manufacturing exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent
• OSHA 30-Hour or equivalent preferred
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred
• Familiarity with EHS software solutions preferred

Responsibilities

• Investigate moderately complex incidents to identify root causes and implement countermeasures.
• Conduct EHS audits to ensure compliance and guide action plans with operations.
• Educate team members on risk identification and mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve basic processes and standard work practices.
