Job summary

ENDLESS HORIZONS in Milwaukee is seeking a Safety Coordinator to perform weekly building safety checks, inspect vehicles, and assist with safety training and investigations to support a secure training center.

The role requires at least two years of related experience, a high school diploma or GED (associates preferred), and a valid driver’s license, with duties including enforcing safety practices and maintaining program standards.

Qualifications

• Two years related experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Associates Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs building safety checks on a weekly basis and provides written feedback to Safety Manager.
• Conducts regular inspections of vehicles for safety and maintenance and communicates concerns to Safety Manager and Senior Driver.
• Conducts weekly safety training to new students in the absence of the Safety Manager.
• Assists the Safety Manager with investigations of safety related issues.
• Monitors the Center grounds daily to ensure PPE use and safe work habits.
• Conducts safety orientations to new employees in the absence of the Safety Manager.
• Assists Safety Manager in maintaining a Safety Cadet Program.
• Assists with security investigations as requested.
• Attends regular OSHA and DOL Safety training.
• Follows CDSS plan and Code of Conduct system.
• Maintains good housekeeping and models Career Success Standards.
• Participation in mandated staff training; failure may result in disciplinary action.
• Performs security duties as time allows.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education
