Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. in Florida is seeking a Safety & Compliance Technician to help monitor workplace activities and ensure adherence to OSHA standards and company safety policies.

You will perform safety inspections, conduct trainings in the safety officer's absence, and identify opportunities to minimize injuries. The role requires strong communication, organization, and attention to detail, with a requirement for a Florida driver’s license and a health and safety certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Health and Safety, Environmental Health, or related field.
• HS Diploma Required.
• Health and safety certification required.
• One year of related experience preferred.
• Valid Florida driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Identifies opportunities to minimize workplace injuries, accidents, and health problems.
• Conducts employee training in absence of the safety officer on applicable safety standards.
• Conducts safety inspections in absence of the safety officer and audits to assess employee compliance with safety regulations.
• Inspects safety equipment; recommends replacements.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
