Job summary

MarBorg Recovery is seeking a Safety Coordinator to implement and monitor Cal/OSHA and HR compliance, update safety protocols, and lead loss-prevention efforts. You will manage safety programs, investigations, and employee safety training at our Santa Barbara site.

The role requires five years in safety coordination with HR experience, strong OSHA knowledge, and the ability to drive policy improvements and employee coaching.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of experience in workplace safety coordination, workers compensation and HR administration.
• Experience interpreting OSHA/Cal/OSHA, FLSA, ADA, FMLA, or other labor laws.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor CalOSHA & HR compliance initiatives.
• Update safety protocols and manuals.
• Coordinate safety programs and training sessions.
• Maintain and update IIPP, WVPP, ERP.
• Investigate accidents and identify root causes.
