Job summary

Keller is seeking an experienced HSEQ Coordinator for our Rockaway, NJ location. You will assist with safety and environmental compliance, conduct inspections, and support training to uphold Keller’s safety standards across the region.

The ideal candidate has a BS in EH&S, 2–5 years’ hands-on safety experience, and construction industry exposure. Travel regionally is required; bilingual skills are a plus. Keller offers comprehensive benefits and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• BS degree in EH&S or related discipline.
• 2–5 years hands-on safety experience.
• Construction industry experience preferred.
• Regional travel required.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with directing safety and environmental hazard activities for the region
• Assisting Regional Senior Vice President with ensuring compliance with all federal, state and local safety and environmental regulations
• Conducting routine safety inspections as directed by the Safety Manager
• Reporting inspection results to the Safety Manager
• Assisting with acquiring resources for corrective action when needed
• Conducting and following up with safety inspections to ensure closure of items identified as unsafe, defective or non-compliant
• Facilitating training for employees on a variety of safety and environmental topics as needed
• Assisting in the development, implementation and enforcement of Company Safety Policies and Procedures
