Job summary

Keller is seeking an experienced HSEQ Coordinator to be based at our Rockaway, NJ location. The role involves hands-on safety and environmental activities, coordinating with the Regional Safety Manager to ensure regional compliance and actionable improvements.

The successful candidate will have a BS in EHS (or related) and 2–5 years of safety experience, with construction industry background and willingness to travel regionally. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and room for growth.

Qualifications

• BS degree in EHS or related field required.
• 2–5 years hand-on safety experience required.
• Construction industry experience preferred; regional travel may be required.
• Bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with directing safety and environmental hazard activities for the region.
• Assist Regional SVP with ensuring compliance with all federal, state and local safety and environmental regulations.
• Conduct routine safety inspections as directed by the Safety Manager.
• Report inspection results to the Safety Manager.
• Assist with acquiring resources for corrective action when needed.
• Conduct and follow up with safety inspections to ensure closure of unsafe/non-compliant items.
• Facilitate training for employees on safety and environmental topics as needed.
• Assist in development, implementation and enforcement of Company Safety Policies and Procedures.

Skills
