Job summary

Fetch is hiring a Safety Coordinator to help build a proactive safety culture across OTR and UTR operations. You will collaborate with site leadership, drivers, and departments to enforce OSHA, DOT, and environmental requirements while solving safety problems together.

You will lead trainings, host toolbox talks, conduct inspections, document investigations, and track corrective actions. Travel up to 25% is required in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years of experience, OR 3+ years in all aspects of safety — OSHA, DOT compliance, safety policy and procedure development, and loss control.
• 1+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, project coordination, or a related field.
• OSHA 30-Hour and current First Aid/CPR/AED certification, or the ability to obtain both within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to conduct training and influence teams at all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
• Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets insurability standards; travel up to 25%.
• Flexibility regarding shifts and working hours, including occasional evenings, weekends, and on‑call incident response.
• Nice to have: CHST, OHST, certification; EHS or fleet telematics software experience; forklift train‑the‑trainer; multi‑site operations experience; conversational proficiency in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with site leadership and operations to implement OSHA and other requirements and reinforce safety culture.
• Partner with Transportation, Human Resources, and Facilities to embed safe practices in daily operations.
• Conduct and document routine site inspections and audits; identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Support compliance with OSHA, DOT/FMCSA, and environmental regulations, including OSHA 300/300A recordkeeping and driver qualification files.
• Support incident and near-miss investigations, documenting findings and following up on corrective actions.
• Deliver toolbox talks and safety communications; support training initiatives and emergency preparedness activities.
• Deliver new hire safety orientation and recurring forklift and hazard communication training.
• Chair the safety committee; manage meetings, minutes, and action items.
• Monitor findings and report training completion to leadership.
• Compile safety metrics and support safety projects and pilots.
