Job summary

NewRange Copper Nickel LLC is seeking a Safety Coordinator to support emergency response measures, risk management programs, and safety and health initiatives across operations. You will help develop and maintain programs to ensure compliance, incident investigation, training, and regulatory reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a Health and Safety role.
• Knowledge and understanding of federal, state, and local occupational safety and health laws and regulations are a benefit.
• Experience in the mining industry preferred.
• Experience in risk assessment, emergency response and incident command considered an asset.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safety program activities and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
• Perform risk assessments and incident investigations; document findings and corrective actions.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies (including MSHA) and assist inspectors as needed.
• Provide safety and health training to employees and contractors.
• Champion safety culture and maintain safety standards and procedures.
