Job description

Company: Velociti, a global provider of deployment services, is currently seeking an experienced Safety & Claims Manager. Velociti deals with technology deployment services and is headquartered in Riverside, MO. Velociti sits at the top of its industry and provides the resources required to ensure all jobs are done correctly, on time, by properly trained individuals.

What You’ll Do:

Safety:

  • Provide new hire safety orientation and regular safety training for employees on policies, regulations, and procedures.
  • Advise the company’s training team on safety issues and compliance in specific projects and operations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors and ensure compliance with customer safety requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections, identify potential hazards, and collaborate with project teams to mitigate risks.
  • Identify trends, patterns and practices and advise management on problem resolution.
  • Promote safety and health awareness.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
Claims:
  • Manage auto claims in a corporate setting with a deductible insurance program.
  • Intake loss information from the field, timely report to the insurer, provide the adjuster loss information and work with the adjuster and appropriate business unit to timely resolve the claims at the lowest ultimate cost.
  • Work with the Legal Department on any high-risk matters to timely report and resolve claims and lawsuits.
Requirements to Apply:
  • Minimum of 4 years’ prior safety manager work experience
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations.
  • Ability to train others.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Advanced communication and presentation skills.
