Job summary

TransTech Energy, LLC seeks a Fabrication Manufacturing Shop Safety Manager to lead safety programs across Beaumont and Houston facilities. This role champions the Goal Zero culture, enforces standardized safety processes, and drives continuous improvement with operations teams.

The ideal candidate has a BS in safety/engineering, 3+ years as a Safety Manager in fabrication, strong OSHA CFR 1926 knowledge, and CSP or related certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and health, engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Safety Manager in a fabrication manufacturing shop environment.
• Thorough knowledge of OSHA regulations, particularly CFR 1926.
• Experience implementing and managing safety programs in a multi-location setting.
• Proven ability to conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and root cause analyses.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to engage employees at all levels.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or other relevant safety certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Champion our safety culture across Beaumont and Houston locations.
• Develop, implement, and standardize safety programs.
• Conduct safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions.
• Perform risk assessments, site inspections, and incident investigations with documentation.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA CFR 1926 and related regs.
• Lead 6S audits and drive process improvements.
• Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean methods.
• Track and report KPIs to measure safety and productivity improvements.
