Job summary

TransTech Energy is seeking a Fabrication Manufacturing Shop Safety Manager to lead safety at Beaumont and Houston facilities, implementing and standardizing safety programs while pursuing operational improvements.

The role requires a robust safety background, hands-on risk assessment, incident investigations, and strong leadership to foster a proactive safety culture across locations. A CSP or related certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and health, engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Safety Manager in fabrication shops.
• Thorough knowledge of OSHA CFR 1926 regulations.
• Experience managing multi-location safety programs.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• CSP or related certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and champion the Goal Zero safety culture across Beaumont and Houston facilities.
• Develop, implement, and standardize safety programs.
• Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, and incident investigations.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and training.
• Lead Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Track KPIs and report safety metrics.
