Job summary

Amazon is hiring a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist (WHSS) to lead safety audits, investigations, and risk assessments while promoting a proactive safety culture across sites. You’ll train associates and drive continuous improvement in safety practices.

As the safety champion, you’ll partner with leadership, analyze data, and translate it into actionable improvements, balancing safety with site productivity and employee wellbeing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year in an EHS-related field or a bachelor’s degree in an EHS-relevant background or 6 months experience in a safety-related role at Amazon.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations 29 CFR 1910.
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel professionally.
• Strong communication, teamwork, analysis, judgment, and customer focus.

• Advise associates on safety and foster a culture of safety.
