Qualifications

• High school or equivalent.
• At least 1 year in an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) related field OR a Bachelor’s degree in an EHS-related background OR 6 months experience in a safety-related role within Amazon.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations specifically 29 CFR 1910.
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel in a professional capacity.
• Experience maintaining confidentiality in matters involving security and/or personnel issues in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety programs with data-driven strategies and conduct daily safety audits.
• Investigate incidents and perform risk assessments to prevent injuries.
• Deliver safety training that engages associates and promotes a proactive culture.
• Advocate for associate wellbeing and build cross-level partnerships across the organization.
• Translate safety data into compelling narratives to drive engagement and improvements.
