Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist to be the safety champion at the site, driving programs, audits, and training. You will partner with leadership to implement data-driven safety solutions that protect associates and support productive operations.

The role requires knowledge of OSHA 1910, strong communication, and the ability to respond in emergencies. Flexible shifts, including days, nights, and weekends, are expected.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent is required.
• 1 year in an Environmental Health & Safety field OR a Bachelor’s degree in an EHS background OR 6 months experience in Amazon safety.
• Knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910 regulations.
• Experience using Word and Excel professionally.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in matters involving security and personnel.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety programs with data-driven strategies and risk assessments.
• Conduct daily safety audits, incident investigations, and root-cause analyses.
• Deliver engaging safety training to associates and leadership.
• Foster a culture of safety and associate wellbeing across the site.
• Analyze accident data and machinery for potential safety concerns.
