Amazon is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist to lead safety programs, audits, and training across delivery sites. You will advocate for associates, transform safety data into actionable insights, and collaborate with leadership to foster a proactive safety culture.

Responsibilities include investigating incidents, conducting risk assessments, and supporting emergency response. Candidates should excel in communication, teamwork, and data-driven safety improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year in an EHS-related field or 6 months in an Amazon safety role or a bachelor’s degree in an EHS-related background.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations specifically 29 CFR 1910.
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel in a professional capacity.
• Experience maintaining confidentiality in matters involving security and/or personal issues in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily safety audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
• Deliver engaging safety training that resonates with associates.
• Transform safety data into compelling narratives for leadership and action.
• Advise associates and leadership to drive safety best practices.
• Assist emergency response and maintain safety operations at the site.
