Job summary

Vetted Solutions is seeking an Assistant Manager, Safety to lead a team of safety professionals in developing and refining systems that enhance safety across operations and new models.

You will drive safety improvement projects, mentor staff, perform risk assessments and ergonomic studies, and analyze safety data to promote a culture of excellence. This is a on-site role based in Raleigh, NC with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• 8+ years of safety experience or equivalent.
• Professional safety certifications preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, data analysis, and planning skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and injury prevention strategies essential.

Role

The Assistant Manager, Safety leads a team of safety professionals to develop and improve systems, processes, and equipment that enhance safety characteristics in alignment with operations, new models, and innovation.

Responsibilities

Lead safety improvement projects, manage daily safety team operations, mentor staff, proactively reduce hazards through PDCA cycles, interpret safety policies, conduct risk assessments and ergonomic studies, analyze safety data, and report safety activities to promote safety excellence.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, 8+ years safety experience or equivalent, professional safety certifications, strong interpersonal, communication, data analysis, problem-solving, and planning skills. Knowledge of safety regulations and injury prevention strategies is essential.

Working Conditions
