The role collaborates with project teams, superintendents, and leadership to ensure safe execution across significant infrastructure projects in the West.

Ralph L. Wadsworth Construction is looking for a Safety Area Manager to help lead and support safety efforts across heavy civil projects throughout the region. This is a hands‑on, field‑focused leadership role for someone who enjoys building relationships with crews, coaching field leadership, and helping drive a strong, proactive safety culture.

At RLW, safety is not viewed as a separate department — it is a key part of operations and project success. This role works closely with project teams, superintendents, and leadership to support safe execution across some of the West’s most impactful infrastructure projects.

What You’ll Do

Position Requirements

• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to travel to project sites as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA 500/510 certifications
• CHST, CSP, or other safety certifications
• Experience supporting roadway, excavation, utility, concrete, or infrastructure projects
