Job summary

Equus Workforce Solutions in Dayton, OH is seeking an experienced security supervisor to coordinate search and seizure activities, maintain compliance with laws and Department Of Labor guidelines, and enhance public safety on site.

The role requires supervisory security or law enforcement background, a valid driver's license, and preferably a degree in criminal justice, along with CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• Three years of security or law enforcement experience, including supervisory duties.
• Bachelor's Degree in criminal justice or related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee search and seizure activities and conducts investigations as assigned.
• Ensure civil rights are not violated and all proceedings comply with Department Of Labor, Company, and legal guidelines.
• Maintain effective public contact and communication.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety practices.
• Ensure compliance with Department Of Labor guidelines and The Office of Federal Contract Compliance Program regulations.
• Conduct in-service training for center staff as required.
• Train subordinates in center safety and security; report unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Complete required security logs, documents and records in a timely manner.
• Control disturbances and assist staff in de-escalating volatile situations.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Three years of security or law enforcement experience, one of which was in a supervisory capacity.
• Bachelor's Degree in criminal justice or related field preferred ; or a combination of education and experience.
• Valid Driver's License and good driving record.
• Current First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification preferred
