Job summary

First Horizon Bank is seeking a GGL Safekeeping Specialist in Houston to support safekeeping and enhanced operations for SBA, COOF, and USDA loan products. You will manage receipts, advise on payments, and coordinate with lenders and Guidehouse to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree in business or finance required.
• Five years of banking, financial, or securities supervisory experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with loan reconciliations and safekeeping operations.
• Ability to resolve escalated issues with cross‑department coordination.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safekeeping/enhanced operations with the team and manager.
• Provide enhanced servicing to clients safeguarding SBA GICs, SBA COOFs, and USDA loans.
• Issue, track, and maintain safekeeping receipt registry.
• Provide clients with debit/credit advices before payments like P&I, payoffs.
• Collect and disburse principal and interest payments timely per agreement.
• Ensure payments are accurate and borrowers are in good standing.
• Prepare monthly reports reflecting activity, holdings, and balances.
• Service products sold to holders/investors such as USDA and SBA loans.
