Job summary

Meyer is a Workplace Solutions company seeking an experienced Straight Truck Driver to join our team in New Castle, Delaware. You will operate company vehicles safely, transport cargo for customers, and support loading and unloading as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and DOT medical card or the ability to obtain one, with 6 months to a year of driving experience. Meyer offers competitive benefits and a collaborative, multi-state work environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Driver's License required.
DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one.
6 months to 1 year or more of driving/box truck experience.
Ability to lift heavy weight.

Responsibilities

Operate company vehicles in a courteous and professional manner.
Ensure safe transport of cargo and safety of the public while driving.
Deliver and pick up cargo and equipment to and from customers within designated time frames.
Transport items from one point to another, may work with a crew or individually.
Safe loading and securing of truck loads.
Assist with moving and installing product as projects require.
