Job summary

By Light Professional IT Services, a CESI member, seeks an experienced Scrum Master to lead Agile teams delivering defense and IT solutions. You will facilitate ceremonies, guard delivery commitments, and ensure alignment with program objectives and customer priorities.

The role requires strong Agile leadership, stakeholder communication, and the ability to operate across SAFe environments while supporting high-quality software, cloud, and infrastructure workstreams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related technical discipline.
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience supporting software development, systems engineering, cloud, infrastructure, or other technical environments.
• Minimum of 3 years as a Scrum Master, Agile Team Facilitator, or similar Agile leadership role.
• Experience in SAFe Agile environments, including PI Planning and cross-team collaboration.
• Strong knowledge of Agile principles, practices, and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile and Scrum practices to support planning and delivery.
• Lead Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.
• Coordinate with Product Owners and leadership to align backlog with objectives and customer priorities.
• Identify and remove impediments, manage dependencies, and mitigate risks.
• Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders clearly and concisely.
• Coach teams in Agile principles and promote self-organization and continuous improvement.
