Job summary

4 O School Services in Minnesota seeks a school bus driver to provide safe transportation for students on assigned routes, perform pre-trip inspections, and enforce bus rules. You will operate the vehicle, monitor student behavior, and work with dispatch to ensure on-time arrivals.

You will communicate with parents and staff, maintain schedules, and uphold safety policies while supporting a positive school transportation program.

Responsibilities

• Operate a school bus safely on assigned routes and transport students and authorized personnel.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections and follow safety regulations and policies.
• Enforce student discipline and maintain proper behavior on the bus.
• Communicate with dispatch, parents, students, staff, and coworkers.
• Maintain routes knowledge, schedules, and timely arrivals.
• Ensure use of safety equipment including seat belts and assist with special seating as needed.
• Report incidents and discipline issues to the proper authority and complete required reports.
• Participate in emergency drills and evacuations as required.
