Job summary

Corewell Health seeks a Product Owner to maximize value delivered by agile teams and ensure stories meet user needs and the Definition of Done. The PO owns PI planning, iteration execution, program execution, and content authority for backlogs, collaborating with Product Management, Customers, and stakeholders.

This role interacts with business leaders and IT teams to align objectives across programs and ensure scalable, cross-domain technology solutions.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent with 2 years product management or multi-team ownership experience.
• Experience using lean and/or agile approaches to develop solutions.
• Ability to lead strategy and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with agile team(s) to create objectives for each 10-week program increment.
• Convey the vision and goals for each feature prioritized.
• Attend all regular agile ceremonies: iteration planning, demos, retrospectives, PI planning.
• Write detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, diagrams, and documentation.
• Groom backlog and prioritize work; communicate progress to leadership.
• Mentor less experienced Product Owners.
