Responsibilities

• Complies with traffic ordinances.
• Observes safety regulations for school buses.
• Maintains discipline on the bus.
• Reports undisciplined students to authorities.
• Keeps assigned bus clean.
• Keeps to the schedule.
• Checks the bus for mechanical defects before operation.
• Notifies authorities in case of mechanical failure or lateness.
• Discharges students at authorized stops.
• Reports all accidents and completes required reports.
• Stays current with state driving and transportation rules.
• Performs related duties as requested by the Director.
