Job summary

4 O School Services is seeking a dedicated School Bus Driver to safely transport students to and from schools and activities. The role requires conducting pre-trip inspections, following safety protocols, and enforcing bus rules while maintaining orderly conduct on board.

The driver will learn routes, communicate with dispatch, and ensure timely arrival at stops. A CDL with proper endorsements and a clean driving record are essential, along with ongoing training and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure bus is safe to operate before driving and conduct required pre-trip inspections.
• Learn routes and local area quickly.
• Operate bus along assigned routes, pick up/deliver authorized students.
• Keep to assigned schedules and be on time while prioritizing safety.
• Communicate clearly with parents, students, staff, and dispatch.
• Maintain student behavior and enforce bus rules.
• Ensure proper use of safety equipment (belts, seats, wheelchairs).
• Report incidents and complete written reports as needed.
