Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a dedicated Inspector for our Richmond, KY plant. You will perform strict quality checks on raw and welded parts, using the Safe Launch checklist and Plex ERP work instructions to ensure conformance with customer specs.

You will log results, escalate issues, and support containment if defects arise. You will rotate across work centers, maintain clean and safe work areas, complete required paperwork accurately, and help meet daily production targets while

• Inspect and measure parts per Safe Launch instructions.
• Record inspection data in Plex ERP.
• Maintain high attention to detail to ensure customer specs are met.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and gage raw or welded parts per Safe Launch checklist.
• Verify first piece conformity to customer specs.
• Use Plex Safe Launch work instructions for inspections.
• Escalate any Safe Launch failure to supervisor for disposition and correction.
• Support quality process during internal/external quality issues.
