Job summary

Westbrooke Manor is seeking a Maintenance Assistant- Painter to keep the facility safe, clean, and well-maintained. You will follow supervisor directions, perform routine painting and repairs, and ensure a hazard-free environment across all areas of the facility.

Responsibilities include daily maintenance tasks, reporting incidents, and participating in training programs such as OSHA and hazard communication. On-the-job training is provided, with emphasis on safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Must possess, at minimum, a 12th grade education or its equivalent.
• On-the-job training provided; previous painting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow maintenance/painting schedule as directed by supervisor.
• Perform routine maintenance on grounds and facilities, including painting and patching.
• Repair tasks such as plastering, carpentry, and other maintenance needs as directed.
• Report accidents/incidents to supervisor promptly.
• Ensure work areas are clean and safely stored after tasks.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in in-service trainings.
