Job summary

Central Kentucky Community Action Council Inc. seeks a Transportation Specialist to provide safe, door-to-door transportation for enrolled clients and maintain accurate van records. You will operate agency vehicles, assist riders, and ensure safety protocols are followed.

The role requires daily vehicle checks, reporting, and coordination with the Lead Driver. A high school diploma is required; DOT physical and drug screening are part of pre-employment requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• DOT physical and drug screen required.
• Ability to drive safely with both hands on wheel.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation to enrolled participants and assist at doors.
• Maintain accurate van reports.
• Ensure riders are accounted for and billing is managed.
• Safely assist passengers boarding and alighting from vehicles.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and maintain cleanliness and safety.
