Job summary

Apple Inc. in Cupertino, CA, is seeking an UI and iOS Platform Software Engineer for Safari to shape the future of web browsing on our platforms. You’ll work with WebKit and Apple frameworks to deliver a fluid experience and help move the iOS platform forward.

You will craft new Safari features, prototype and ship improvements, and collaborate across WebKit, iOS platform teams, and the Human Interface group to deliver high-quality user experiences.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related field, preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Experience mentoring other engineers.
• Expertise in writing fast, efficient software in Swift, Objective‑C, or a C‑family language.
• Knowledge of UIKit and Swift design patterns.
• Expertise in Xcode developer tools, Instruments, and clang.

Responsibilities

• Craft new and innovative Safari features and elevate existing ones.
• Participate in brainstorming, prototyping, coding, debugging, shipping, and addressing customer feedback.
• Collaborate with the WebKit team, iOS platform teams, and Apple’s Human Interface group.
• Strive for craft and quality in all work.
