Apple in the San Francisco Bay Area seeks a Senior Software Engineer to shape the next generation of intelligent native experiences across iOS, iPadOS, and macOS. Qualifications

• 10 years of professional software engineering experience.
• 7 years of native Apple‑platform development with Swift/SwiftUI/UIKit/AppKit.
• 7 years of expertise in Swift and modern native development including concurrency and memory management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and architectural direction for large-scale native applications across iOS, iPadOS, and macOS.
• Design and build sophisticated native experiences using Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and AppKit with reusable components.
• Define scalable architecture across UI, domain, networking, persistence, synchronization, security, and observability.
• Apply modern Swift and concurrency capabilities to build responsive, reliable apps.
• Architect robust client-server experiences, including API integration, authentication, and offline operation.
• Build platform-appropriate productivity experiences across iPhone, iPad, and macOS.
• Design secure applications for sensitive financial workflows using Apple security capabilities.
• Design and integrate AI-assisted experiences using Foundation Models, Core ML, Vision, and App Intents.
• Partner with product, design, backend, and security teams to simplify financial workflows.
• Drive quality through accessibility, internationalization, testing, performance, and CI/CD.
• Lead investigation and resolution of issues across performance, memory, and concurrency.
• Raise engineering bar through architecture reviews and mentoring.
