Position Details

This role involves joining SAF/IS Reserve employees to deploy overseas in support of military personnel and DOD civilians, with potential deployment locations including Kuwait, Djibouti, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Lithuania. Deployments occur twice a year, with the next anticipated in 2026. The position is remote-based, with a commitment of approximately 6 months per deployment. Candidates can reside anywhere in the U.S. or U.S. Territories.

Responsibilities

• Emergency Communications: Facilitate communication between military personnel and their families.
• Morale & Welfare: Develop programs such as hospital visits, events, and distribution of donated items.
• Relationship Management: Promote ARC programs with military command structures.
• Volunteer Management: Supervise volunteers, including recruitment, training, and recognition.
• Deployment Readiness: Maintain readiness, complete required training, and meet medical and security requirements, including obtaining necessary travel documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in related fields.
• Minimum of three years of related experience.
• U.S. citizenship, ability to obtain a secret security clearance, and a no-fee U.S. passport.
• Willingness to deploy globally, including conflict zones, and meet strict medical and physical standards.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $47,900 - $50,000. Deployment and readiness incentives available during deployment. Benefits include health plans, PTO, holidays, 401K, paid family leave, employee assistance, disability insurance, and recognition programs.
