Care On Call is seeking a compassionate caregiver to join our Sacramento team on a part-time basis. The role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to help clients maintain independence and comfort in their own homes.

Responsibilities include safety checks, assisting with bathing, dressing, feeding, and daily personal care, as well as medication reminders and documenting care provided. This position reports to the Staffing/Case Manager and serves clients in Sacramento, California.

Qualifikationen

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Candidates must obtain DOJ and FBI fingerprint clearances.
• Current first aid certification required.
• Negative TB test within the previous six months (test can be done within seven days of hire).
• Able to lift 20 pounds and push 40 pounds without assistance.

Aufgaben

• Perform client safety checks.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, and feeding.
• Support personal hygiene and dietary needs.
• Provide medication reminders and respond to emergencies (call 911 when necessary).
• Accompany clients to appointments and run errands.
• Complete laundry and assist with walking or light exercise.
