Job summary

Diocese of Orlando seeks a Faith Formation Coordinator (Baptism and Marriage Preparation) to coordinate and administer baptismal and marriage preparation programs in line with diocesan standards. You will collaborate with parish staff, clergy, and volunteers to ensure sacramental preparation and documentation are handled properly.

The role supports liturgical celebrations and diocesan Safe Environment policies, with a flexible schedule including occasional evenings and weekends in an office

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Theology, Catechetics, Religious Studies, Pastoral Ministry, or related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in parish ministry or related field.
• Must have or be in the process of obtaining diocesan catechetical certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate baptismal preparation programs with the Pastor.
• Recruit, train, and support baptismal volunteers.
• Meet with families to guide sacramental preparation.
• Facilitate preparation sessions and ensure materials are available.
• Coordinate baptismal liturgies and records.
