Job summary

Littleton Public Schools at Lenski Elementary seeks an SACC Assistant Manager to support the Program Manager in maintaining the childcare program in line with district and state rules. This role includes supervising activity leaders and planning developmentally appropriate activities for children.

Starting salary is $24.75 per hour with a 35-hour work week. Must be able to open/close and work split shifts; compliance and registration duties are also part of the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• The assistant program manager must have completed at least one of the education/experience combinations listed.
• Experience caring for four or more children is required or preferred for certain combinations.
• Must maintain First Aid/CPR certification during employment.
• Criminal background check required for hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and implement developmentally appropriate activities for the students enrolled in the program.
• Supervise staff in following regulations and rules mandated by the District and the State of Colorado.
• Communicate to Program Director and families regarding events, concerns and issues involving the program.
• Assist Director in clerical duties related to the program such as maintaining student and staff records.
• Assist Director in registration of new students in the program.
• Coordinate supplemental curricular activities with Program Manager and Activity Leaders.
• Establish and maintain clear expectations for staff and students regarding behavior.
