Job summary

SMX is seeking an experienced SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Developer to design, build and implement budgeting, planning, and reporting solutions for federal government clients. This role requires collaboration with functional and technical SMEs to deliver robust SAC solutions that meet complex client needs.

You will translate requirements into technical specs, develop SAC data models and stories, and implement JavaScript-based calculations and logic.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, IS, or related field.
3–5 years with SAC Planning and 5+ years in budgeting/reporting solutions.
Proven SAC data modeling, stories, and analytical apps experience.
JavaScript skills within SAC environment.
Strong written and verbal communication for cross-team collaboration.
Attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving.

Responsibilities

Translate requirements into technical specification documents.
Design, build, test, and deploy SAC budgeting, planning, and reporting solutions.
Develop calculations, data actions, and business logic with JavaScript.
Configure demos and translate requirements into working functionality.
Participate in testing and defect resolution during implementation.
Collaborate with solution architect and data team on design and data.
