Job summary

Abile Group, Inc. is seeking a Systems Administrator (SaaS) for a 10-year contract to support an Intelligence Community customer. The role covers user-facing and data center IT services across networks and locations, with responsibilities from deployment to sustainment.

The candidate will manage servers, enforce security, create accounts, document configurations, and advise on hardware/software purchases. A strong customer-service mindset and problem-solving ability are essential.

Qualifications

• Clearance required: TS/SCI with ability to obtain CI Poly.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent.
• 5–10 years of directly related experience in systems administration and analysis.
• DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification or equivalent, or ability to obtain within defined period.
• Experience supporting user-facing devices and systems; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems.
• Maintains the integrity and security of servers and systems.
• Sets up administrator and service accounts.
• Maintains system documentation.
• Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.
• Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.
• Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
• May program in an administrative language.
• Develops and implements testing strategies and document results.
• Provides advice and training to end-users.
• Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced staff members.
• Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
• Participates in special projects as required.
