This frontier finance role partners with AI builders to redesign invoicing, reconciliations, and rev-rec workflows, driving accuracy and speed across the revenue function in a fast-growing health-tech environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience with substantial focus on revenue recognition in a SaaS, software, or technology environment.
• Deep working knowledge of ASC 606 as applied to SaaS and subscription models, including multi-element contracts and renewals.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage agentic AI tools to automate accounting workflows.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite and Salesforce, including revenue management workflows.
• Experience in high-growth SaaS, healthcare tech, or B2B software.
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills.

Aufgaben

• Revenue Recognition Ownership: Own the revenue recognition schedule across SaaS subscriptions, usage-based fees, and professional services, ensuring full ASC 606 compliance
• Contract Analysis: Review customer contracts to determine treatment for multiple performance obligations, variable consideration, contract modifications, and renewals across complex arrangements
• Agentic AI in Finance: Design and implement agentic AI solutions to automate invoicing, reconciliations, and revenue recognition workflows
• Billing & Deferred Revenue: Oversee NetSuite invoicing for recurring and usage-based billing; maintain deferred revenue schedules and contract liabilities
• Close & Reporting: Execute month-end close for revenue accounts, prepare reconciliations and journal entries, and deliver trend commentary for execs
• Cross-Functional Partnership: Serve as technical accounting contact for Sales, Customer Success, RevOps, and FP&A; align on SaaS metrics
• Policy & Controls: Develop ASC 606 policies and SOX-compliant documentation; liaise with external auditors on revenue matters
• Systems & Automation: Collaborate on NetSuite enhancements and revenue-rec automation as Artera scales
