Job summary

Confidential Careers is seeking a Staff Revenue Accountant to support revenue recognition under US GAAP ASC 606. This role reviews customer contracts, sales orders, and statements of work, ensures accurate revenue recording in NetSuite, and supports the monthly close with journal entries and reconciliations.

The position requires collaboration with Commercial, Legal, Services, and Accounting teams, helps review project hours and milestones, and assists with audits and related documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2–5 years in accounting, sales operations, or revenue accounting.
Experience with US GAAP and ASC 606 required.

Responsibilities

Review contracts, orders, and SOWs to identify revenue terms.
Record revenue and ensure ASC 606 compliance in NetSuite.
Manage month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and analyses.
Coordinate with Commercial, Legal, Services, and Accounting teams.
Assist with audits and external schedules.
Process orders, terminations, returns, and credits.
