Job summary

Samba is seeking a Revenue Accounting Analyst in San Francisco to help report revenue in accordance with GAAP and ASC 606. You will support order-to-cash, month-end close, and collaborate with legal, sales, and other teams to ensure policy compliance.

This role reports to the Revenue Manager and requires 4–6+ years of experience, ASC 606 knowledge, and a degree in Finance or Accounting. Proficiency in NetSuite, Excel, and Google Sheets is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4-6+ years of work experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Experience in digital advertising or ad tech is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure revenue recognition under GAAP ASC 606.
• Manage order-to-cash processes and month-end close activities.
• Collaborate with legal, sales, and business development to ensure policy compliance.
• Prepare revenue waterfall schedules and post journal entries in NetSuite.
• Assist with audits and maintain procedure documentation.
• Support ad hoc projects as assigned.
