Title: SaaS Program - Controls and Gov. Lead

Major Duties
  • Provides expertise and leadership to develop, deploy and manage SaaS Oversight and Governance capabilities as part of the Strategic SaaS Remediation Program.
  • Leads development, deployment and refinement of SaaS application capabilities: Risk Treatment, Governance and Oversight, alignment of Master Service Agreements and PRC updates.
  • Participates in the evaluation, development, implementation, communication, monitoring and maintenance of SaaS Application security policies and procedures.
  • Provides leadership and guidance to staff, fostering an environment of employee participation, teamwork and communication.
  • Keeps abreast of the direction of emerging industry standards.
  • Seasoned multi‑disciplinary expert with extensive technical and/or business knowledge and functional expertise.
  • Focus on execution of strategic direction to improve SaaS application governance and adherence to the SaaS Standard.
  • Carries out complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines and/or ambiguous issues.
  • Displays a balanced, cross‑functional perspective, liaising with the business to improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivity.
Knowledge
  • Highly flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Technical expert with in‑depth knowledge in area of expertise and awareness of other areas.
  • Excellent analytical ability, consultative and communication skills, strong judgment and the ability to work effectively with client, IT management, staff, vendors and consultants.
  • Leadership and organizational skills required to determine the Business Unit's goals, resources needed, and to assess and develop staff skills.
Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and technical experience in the security aspects of multiple platforms, operating systems, software, communications and network protocols or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Salary Range

$114,700 - 194,900 USD

Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well‑being benefits. Northern Trust also offers a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
