ScaleView Partners is seeking an Investment Banking Associate to join our Austin team, advising founder-led software companies on M&A and growth capital transactions. This role offers direct collaboration with senior bankers across all deal phases and significant client exposure.

You will work on financial analyses, positioning, and creation of materials, translating numbers into compelling investment narratives while contributing judgment and insight beyond numbers.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of investment banking experience, with software or SaaS exposure.
• Strong SaaS financial and analytical skills.
• Ability to turn numbers into a story and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable with founders and executives.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ownership.
• Genuine interest in software and entrepreneurship.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Execute transactions from start to finish, driving M&A and capital-raising processes.
• Analyze software businesses with ARR, retention, churn, revenue quality, and valuation.
• Turn analysis into investment narratives that resonate with buyers.
• Develop Confidential Information Memoranda and client presentations.
• Work directly with clients and counterparties on diligence and calls.
• Coordinate data rooms, diligence requests, and buyer communications.
• Support business development and pitches to win engagements.
