Job summary

STORIS is hiring a Collections & Billing Specialist to manage 500+ invoices yearly for 400+ accounts. You will drive timely collections, resolve billing discrepancies, and partner with Sales and Customer Success on contract terms that affect billing.

You will analyze AR aging, monitor DSO, and provide accurate billing data for month-end close. Strong Excel, BI tooling, and communication are essential for success in a collaborative, hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of billing, collections, accounts receivable, or related finance role.
• Experience with recurring revenue, contract-based billing, or usage-based pricing is a plus.
• Proficiency with billing/invoicing systems and ERP/accounting software.
• Strong Excel skills and reporting/BI experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; professional with customers.
• Ability to manage high volume of invoices accurately.

Responsibilities

• Generate, review, and issue accurate invoices per contract terms and pricing.
• Maintain and reconcile billing schedules across 400+ customer accounts.
• Process invoice adjustments, credits, and corrections timely.
• Monitor AR aging and follow up on past-due invoices by phone and email.
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success on contract terms affecting billing.
• Review contracts to extract billing terms and payment schedules.
• Prepare AR aging, collections, and cash application reports.
• Support month-end close with AR data and revenue schedules.
• Ensure compliance with revenue recognition policies.
