Job summary

CAE/SIMCOM seeks a skilled SAAB 2000 Instructor Pilot to train pilots through world‑class simulator and ground school instruction. You will guide clients across training journeys, ensuring safety, compliance, professionalism, and superior customer service.

Responsibilities include delivering simulator and ground-school training, acting as SME, and maintaining training records. Opportunities exist to advance to Training Center Evaluator and international assignments as needed.

Qualifications

• 3,000+ hours of total flight time.
• 2–5 years of job-relevant experience.
• Previous teaching or training experience preferred.
• Must be authorized to live/work in the United States.
• Hold an unrestricted ATP certificate and one unrestricted PIC type rating.
• Excellent fluency in English (spoken and written).
• Strong listening and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver flight simulator and ground school training per CAE curriculum and regulatory standards.
• Serve as SME guiding clients through training phases.
• Provide simulator, flight, and classroom instruction for licenses and ratings.
• Conduct thorough pre‑ and post‑flight simulator briefings.
• Complete training records and monitor instructor qualifications.
• Support curriculum and courseware development as SME when required.
• After ~1.5+ years, qualify as Training Center Evaluator (TCE) and contract check airman.
• Participate in training programs possibly involving international travel.
