Key Responsibilities:

1. Monitoring and Surveillance:
   • Monitor CCTV cameras and security systems to detect any suspicious activities.
   • Perform regular security patrols of the premises to ensure no unauthorized individuals are on-site.
   • Respond to alarms or alerts in a timely manner.
2. Access Control:
   • Verify the identity of individuals entering the premises.
   • Screen bags, packages, or other items to ensure safety protocols are followed.
   • Maintain and enforce access control policies for authorized personnel.
3. Incident Response:
   • Respond to emergency situations, including medical emergencies, fire alarms, or potential threats.
   • Assist in evacuations and provide first aid when necessary.
   • Report any suspicious activities, accidents, or security breaches.
4. Reporting and Documentation:
   • Write detailed reports on security incidents, observations, and actions taken.
   • Document and file daily activity reports and incident logs.
   • Provide recommendations to improve security measures.
5. Customer Service:
   • Assist employees, visitors, and clients with directions, queries, and other needs while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
   • Resolve minor disputes and conflicts in a calm and diplomatic manner.
6. Collaboration:
   • Work closely with other security personnel, management, and law enforcement.
   • Attend training sessions to stay updated on security procedures, protocols, and technology.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require a degree or certification in security).
• Proven experience as a security guard or agent is preferred.
• Knowledge of security systems and surveillance equipment.
• Strong observational and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
• Physical fitness and the ability to stand for long periods or patrol large areas.
• A valid security certification or license (varies by location).
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
