Job summary

CHEP USA seeks an experienced Serialization (S+) Process Solutions Lead to drive large-scale capital projects that automate and optimize the serialization ecosystem across North America and beyond.

You will partner with engineering, operations, digital and supplier teams to standardize processes, lead pilots, and scale cutting-edge serialization technology while ensuring safety, compliance and environmental goals are met.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in manufacturing, supply chain, industrial operations, automation, or logistics.
• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical fields.
• Experience leading technical projects from problem identification through implementation.
• Strong collaboration across engineering, operations, digital and vendor teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage large-scale capital engineering projects for automation, IoT and continuous improvement solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Health & Safety, Finance, Quality) and external suppliers to drive project success, managing stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead the preparation of Capex documents, including cost estimates, project justifications, equipment layouts, and technical specifications, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Manage equipment installation and commissioning, including contractor supervision, safety compliance, and ensuring adherence to environmental regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce MTBF and increase efficiency through AI, robotics, and digital twin models.
• Ensure training programs and operational documentation (as-built drawings, manuals, spare parts lists) are delivered for handover to operations.
• Maintain financial control over capital projects, forecast expenditures, and ensure fiduciary compliance throughout execution.
• Champion Zero Harm and environmental standards, meeting safety and regulatory requirements.
