Caterpillar Inc. in Peoria, IL is seeking a Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Coordinator to lead forecasting, scheduling, and performance tracking that align demand with production capacity.

You will develop demand and supply insights, partner with cross-functional teams, and drive improvements to planning processes. The successful candidate will use data analytics and forecasting methods to identify risks and opportunities, create dashboards, and support digital transformation initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and strong analytical mindset.
• 3+ years of forecasting, planning, supply chain, operations, or analytics experience.
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis; experience with BI tools encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Analyze market demand, orders, and trends to develop production schedules and factory build plans.
• Develop and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts using statistical methods.
• Analyze demand signals, trends, and constraints to align with capacity and inventory strategy.
• Gather and analyze data from multiple systems and stakeholders for planning accuracy.
• Create dashboards and reports supporting business performance reviews.
• Communicate planning assumptions, risks, and impacts clearly.
• Support digital transformation and analytics initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve planning processes and forecasting accuracy.
