Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Peoria, IL seeks a Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Coordinator to create monthly product group forecasts, identify risks, and align forecasts with the financial plan.

You will analyze data, use Excel, Snowflake, and Power BI to support forecast accuracy, collaborate across functions, and drive continuous improvement. This onsite role requires five days per week in Peoria/East Peoria, up to 5% travel, and no visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Experience in S&OP environments and forecast development.
• Ability to gather and analyze demand data for multiple forecasting cycles.
• Strong data-driven decision making and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Create a monthly product group forecast based on supply and demand, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Provide data, facts, and statistics to support forecast changes.
• Use enterprise tools to input and adjust shipment plans and forecast; update coverage status.
• Analyze variance between actuals and forecast to identify root causes.
• Report results for various S&OP metrics.
• Help align the product group forecast to the financial plan.
