As the S&OP Coordinator you will report to the Senior Manager of Sales and Operations Planning and will be primarily responsible for creating a business forecast for each monthly cycle. You will also be responsible for identifying and executing opportunities to improve forecast efficiency and accuracy, and preparing the annual Long-Term Forecast. We have a fabulous team that does some of the most exciting work at Caterpillar, and we can't wait for you to join the team!**Additional Information:*** This position requires the candidate to work onsite five days a week at the Peoria, IL or East Peoria, IL office.* Domestic relocation assistance: NOT available.* Visa sponsorship is NOT available.* This position may require up to 5% travel.**What You Will Do:*** Create a monthly product group forecast based on changes in supply and demand, identifying risks and opportunities.* Provide supporting facts, data and statistics to support the business forecast and related changes.* Use enterprise tools to input and adjust shipment plans and the product group forecast. Adjust the shipment plan and order coverage status based on actual monthly results.* Perform data analysis for key performance metrics, including a comparison of how actual results compare to the forecast.
